Present continuous tense is a form of tense that is used to determine an action that is taking place for a certain time at the present time (now). This form indicates that this action occurred before (started before), during (ongoing at this time), and continued after (continued after) time or other actions.

To form a present continuous tense sentence, we must apply the be + present participle
(-ing) formula to the main verb.

Example :: She is sleeping right now We are studying today
- Negative (-) S + be (am / is / are) + not + verb (-ing) + …
Example :: She is not sleeping right now

Example :: Is she sleeping right now?

Use The form of present continuous tense is specifically used for the following circumstances:
Use of Example Sentences a) To show an action that is taking place and is happening now.
It is raining now and I am waiting for my mother to pick me up. Explanation: Now it’s raining and I’m waiting for my mother to pick me up. Means, the rain and the waiting action that the subject has done before the subject speaks, takes place while the subject is talking, and may still occur after the subject has finished speaking
