Adjectives describe nouns. In grammar, we say that adjectives “modify” nouns. The word “modify” means “change a little.” Adjectives give a little different meaning to a noun: cold water, hot water, nice weather, bad weather.

- Laskarea and Zera are beautiful girls
- I am rich woman
- My husband is a handsome man
- Adjectives come in front of nouns
- The hungry boy has a fresh apple

- The clever girl has busy activity
- The angry birds have funny expression
- The funny cat has black spot on his nose
- The lazy boy has nice smile
- An adjectives can also follow be; the adjective describes the subject of the sentence.
- The book is cheap
(noun) +(be)+(adjective)
- The house is big
- The class is dirty
- The car is expensive
- The food is so delicious
