Reading Comprehension Strategy

Reading is boring and complecated subject to have in learning and English test, I try to share how to deal with this issue, here bellow I give some tips needed in doing reading comprehension.

Reading comprehension is a major pillar of reading activity in which a reader builds an understanding of a text. It combines logical thinking that belongs to the collection of letters, words, and sentences present in the text. Things  to be considered in doing the test in the form of reading comprehension.

1. Reading Text
2. Kinds of questions
   1. -Topic of The Text
   2. -The main idea
   3. -The cause and reason
   4. -The conclusion
   5. -The reference, the synonym
   6. – True or false

4. Reading Comprehension Tricks and Tips

-Read  all the questions at glance; You do not need to read the available answer options.

-Read  carefully the passage that relevants to the question, but not too long.

-Do not stop reading if you find an unfamiliar word. Ignore it, because you can guess its meaning

-Remember the types of the questions

-Topic of the text Usually  can be concluded by looking at some sentences at the beginning of the text / reading.

-The main idea is a further description and  very concise, about the ‘topic of the text’ or ‘object’ of speech as mentioned above.

– The conclusion is the description of the main idea.
