As we know simple future or future tense is used to explain the activities which happen in the future but it is not only talking about activities but also it can explain about condition in the future or in the other word we call it simple future nominal or future tense nominal. Here we don’t talk about verbs but we talk about noun, adjective and adverbs as the condition.
Same as future verbal, the adverbs which we can use as follows:
- Later
- Next ( next week, next month, etc )
- Tomorrow
- Soon
- The day after tomorrow
In future tense nominal we can use this formula : s + will + be + compliment ( noun, adjective, and adverb ) to make the sentence.
Examples :
- ( + ) I will be an artist next five years ( artist is a noun )
- ( – ) I will not be an artist next five years
- ( ? ) Will you be an artist next five years ?
- (+) She will be sad if you are sad ( sad is an adjective )
- ( – ) She will not be sad if your are sad
- ( ? ) Will she be sad if you are sad ?
- (+) They will be at school soon ( at school is an adverb )
- ( – ) They will not be at school soon
- ( ? ) Will they be at school soon ?
