Parts of speech is parts of words in the sentence. There are eight part of speech

When he is very hungry, he eats really quickly. |
| Pronoun
(kata ganti) |
replaces a noun | I, you, he, she, some | Tara is Indian.
She is beautiful. |
| Preposition
(kata depan) |
links a noun to another word | to, at, after, on, but | We went to school on Monday |
| Conjunction
(kata penghubung) |
joins clauses or sentences or words | and, but, when | I like eat when it rains.
I like blue and pink. I like you but I hate you. |
