Learning Conditional Sentence Type 2

Do you know conditional sentence guys? Yup, conditional sentence is a sentence used to describe about conditional. There are 4 types of conditional, start from type 0, type 1, type 2 and type 3. But all of them have different conditional in a sentence.

Conditional sentence type 2 is used to express some dreams or unreal situations. In other words, this condition specified the imagination of past activity or even imagination.

The formula of conditional sentence type 2;

If + simple past tense ( S+V2+O / S+were+O), past future tense (S+would+V1+O)

Examples;

If I went to market yesterday, I would buy many things

(it means, I didn’t go to market so I didn’t buy many things there)

If bambang were my brother, I would borrow his car

(the fact is bambang isn’t my brother)

If ms Rizka didn’t take me home last night, my mom would be angry at me

                (it means, ms rizka took me home last night so my mom wasn’t angry at me)

So guys, just practice it! It is simple, isn’t it? J
