Exclamation Sentence

Exclamatory sentence is a type of sentence in English that expresses a strong feeling through exclamation. This sentence is used to express one’s feelings about something spontaneously, feeling happy, sad, surprised, and so on. At the end of the exclamatory this sentence always ends with a ‘!’ (Exclamation mark).

In English sentences, other types of sentences are declarative, interrogative and imperative sentence. These three sentences, especially declarative sentences, if pronounced with appropriate intonation can be used to form exclamatory sentences.

“How” is used in the Exclamatory sentence to describe adjectives and adverbs. Whereas “What” is used in the Exclamatory sentence to describe the noun / noun
